Lead Designer
Job Introduction
We have a new exciting opportunity to join our Brand & Marketing Department as Lead Designer for our portfolio of global brands
If you are you a Senior Designer with a strong creative flair and an appetite to lead your own team, then this role could potentially be the role for you.
We have a hybrid working model, where you can work 60% from home, with the rest of your time being flexibly based at our head office in Leeds city Centre, with on-site parking facilities or just 10 minutes' walk from the train station.
Role Responsibility
- You will be the creative design SME for our brands both internally and externally.
- Driving forward the creative direction, ensuring our brands are consistent and reflective of our external markets.
- You will be providing our Marketing team, and other areas of the business, with creative support across all project stages from concepts through to delivery.
- You will manage and coach a design team to help them deliver innovative campaign creative that drives results.
- You will be working towards and fulfilling deadlines.
- You will design all marketing comms and design jobs for the business.
The Ideal Candidate
- We're looking for an experienced senior designer, with creative flair and meticulous attention to detail.
- You will need a good understanding of creative visual principles such as typography, layout, colour theory and brand identity as well as Adobe software.
- You will have worked with stakeholders at all levels on concepts and briefings and will be able to not only think creatively but also strategically, challenging ideas for the best results.
- You will have experience in a team leadership role either formally or informally.
- You will be proactive, creative, and enthusiastic as well as being organised, methodical, and have pride in seeing work done to the highest standards.
- Experience of presentation and digital design is beneficial.
- Experience of managing budgets is desirable
