Business Development Executive - Dental - UK
Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our UK Dental Business Development team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The Business Development team are responsible for acquiring members across our student and young dentist pipeline and established dental market whilst having a strong focus on retention of members to support our existing member base.
You will play a pivotal part in to implementing appropriate sales strategies within the UK dental market to optimise member acquisition, retention, satisfaction, and brand engagement across specifically identified dental segments, life-stages, and geographical areas. This will involve engaging with members via telephone, emails or through face to face events and conferences where appropriate.
This will be a full-time, home-based role, with occasional travel into the Leeds / London office. It is essential that you have a driving licence as you will be required to deliver face to face activity.
Role Responsibility
- Achieve retention targets by preparing and implementing business development plans that meet MPS objectives whilst maintaining a responsible approach to risk for the company.
- Proactively manage sales pursuits in accordance with process and internal regulatory requirements (where appropriate) ensuring required actions are delivered on time and within agreed SLAs.
- Identify opportunities to engage with prospective members / target audiences to promote the MPS brands, working closely with Marketing, product, underwriting and the segment planning team where appropriate.
- You will be supporting across our three dental segments: pipeline, young dentists, and the established market, focusing on retention of members.
- Manage internal and external relationships to ensure a clear flow of communication between the member and the business where appropriate.
- Seek opportunities to continuously improve ways of working and meeting member needs.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of working within a targeted, sales or business development role
- Experience in implementing activity plans and managing & achieving targets
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence across organisations/ functions
- Ability to build long lasting relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to manage own workload and time effectively with strong organisational skills
- A full clean driving license
- Sales & solution focused
- Enthusiasm for face-to-face events and member interactions
- Understanding of UK Dental market adventitious
