We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Analyst to join our Applications Delivery team based in Leeds!

As part of our wider Applications Delivery team, our Test Analyst’s play a pivotal role in the driving the quality delivery of applications for our Members.

You will work alongside the Lead Test Analyst and Test Manager with planning day-to-day testing activities whilst ensuring the effectiveness of 3^rd parties and external partners.

This role sits under MPS’ ‘Hybrid Persona’ meaning a blend of home and office-based working, to suit you and the needs of the business with expectations set between you and your line manager.

Role Responsibility

• Creating and maintaining Test Strategies, Test Plans, Suites, Cases for projects assigned
• Working with the project team (Developers, designers, BAs etc.) so that test tasks are delivered to meet the overall project plan
• Performing review of requirements and associated test cases to ensure delivery of products that meet the quality level that supports the overall project requirement
• Performing peer reviews of output from 3rd Party providers and ensure their test capability and capacity, protecting MPS interests
• Monitoring and reviewing output from other testers working within assigned projects, to ensure standards of testing are being maintained

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong SQL skills
• Detailed understanding of project/test management tools such as DevOps, Jira, Quality Centre tools
• Experience of working with 3rd Party / Offshore resources in testing of applications
