Solutions Architect
Job Introduction
MPS is looking for a Solution Architect who is passionate about technology solutions to join a growing architecture function within the Digital & Change division. You will be required to work across the business to design and maintain the enterprise solutions and fulfil the strategic needs of the business.
Role Responsibility
- The design and creation of multiple application and integration models and have a broad understanding of how each model fulfils the needs of the business
- The accountability of the organisation’s applications roadmap
- Championing solution architecture across the organisation, and setting the standards and ways of working for the solution architecture community
- Create and maintain current- and target-state solution architectures
- Define and manage standards, guidelines and processes to ensure the quality of delivered solutions
- Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with architecture principles and target state
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for applications and integration of applications
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience of working as a Solution Architect
- Expertise in Application modelling within a structured architecture repository
- Experience of working with both Technical and Non-Technical Teams
- Ability to define and implement Application and Software Standards
- Background in Microsoft enterprise technologies (Azure, Dynamics, SharePoint)
- The ability to turn business issues into Solution Architecture design
- Integration platforms and approaches to integrating applications
- Azure cloud integration experience
- Risk and security management
