Senior IT Service Delivery Manager

Role Responsibility

As our new Senior IT Service Delivery Manager, you will also:

  • Manage the IT Service Delivery framework, adhering to ITIL best practices and organizational standards
  • Establish, Mature, simplify, automate and enhance where possible all Operational Service processes including Service Transition
  • Overseeing and assurance of the operation of the Infrastructure & Operations team - which involves handling incident management, request fulfilment, change, problem & service transition management processes
  • Setup and manage relationships with third-party service providers which could include outsourced services
  • Act as primary escalation point for business users and stakeholders for service issues

 

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for:

  • ITIL certification / service management accreditation
  • Understanding of business objectives, financial management principles, and the ability to align IT services with organizational goals
  • Significant experience obtained in an IT service support or delivery role operating with complex, distributed IT environments at scale 
  • Experience of formal service support processes and procedures based on ITIL, including incident, change, problem management and service improvement

It is a very exciting time to get involved in our Member Experience, Digital and Data (MEDD) division, as the team are currently developing new Cloud-based architecture, introducing a new CRM system that will allow for better cross-team collaboration and re-defining our platforms and environments.

We offer a truly-flexible hybrid working arrangement that is centred around our colleagues’ work-life balance. Technology allows us to collaborate effectively regardless of location, but we know sometimes you can’t beat being with your team in-person and our team tends to come on-site once or twice a month. However, we expect this can fluctuate throughout the year depending on our projects and current work.
