Resource Capacity Planner

Job Introduction

We have a great opportunity for a highly numerical Resource Capacity Planner to join us in our Direct Sales & Services team, where the main purpose of the role is to understand the requirements needed to deliver business objectives and ensure correct resource is planned to handle Member demand.

You will effectively manage the long-term forecasting for existing campaigns such as inbound calls and emails, while also taking the lead on introducing new work streams and building a capacity plan to meet the new demand.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure all current capacity plans are maintained and accurate, using historic data and actual performances throughout the year, to provide effective forecasting.
  • Create new resource capacity plans; understanding Member contact demand and work outputs, to accurately measure and forecast resource requirement.
  • Coordinate with Resource Scheduling, to ensure delivery of the capacity plans by effectively scheduling weekly resource available based on forecasted demand.
  • Regularly review scheduling performance and planned activity with the resource scheduling team, to ensure resource is utilised effectively.
  • Provide insight to senior management to support conversations regarding recruitment needs and performance.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a tenacious individual who can work autonomously to deliver the requirements of the role. You will have strong organisational and planning skills and be a confident user of Microsoft Excel.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Planning and resourcing a Call or Contact Centre
  • Creating capacity plans to clearly identify resource requirements
  • Ability to capture and understand key business requirements
  • Working towards and delivering agreed service levels and business KPI’s
  • Ability to apply a range of insight techniques to drive business improvement

Package Description

  • Salary circa £29,000
  • 12% company pension contribution (3% from the individual)
  • Annual bonus up to 10%
