PMO Analyst

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a collaborative PMO Analyst to join us in our Portfolio, Programme and Project Management team within the Digital and Change division.

The main purpose of this role is to assist the PMO Manager with tracking Programmes/Projects and provide direct project support where required. You will also help shape and embed Programme/Project Governance principles across the MPS change portfolio in order to support the completion of successful projects/initiatives that align to the strategic objectives of the business, ensuring we achieve the best outcomes for our members.

This role will give you the opportunity to work alongside our experienced Project Managers on a variety of interesting projects. You will also be joining us on our journey into a more agile environment, sharing and developing your knowledge with us.

Role Responsibility

  • Tracking the status of programme/project deliverables and milestones
  • Supporting the adoption of the project lifecycle and deliverables (Waterfall and transition to Agile)
  • Risk and issue co-ordination
  • Supporting the Project Manager in producing and tracking plans, utilising MS Project
  • Co-ordination of the regular programme and project level reporting cycles, including status and financial
  • Co-ordination of project governance deliverables (including quality assurance and stage gate preparation)
  • Service programme/project meetings including collating inputs, minuting and producing outputs
  • Facilitating post implementation reviews
  • Ad hoc programme/project level support

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced PMO Analyst who can demonstrate experience of delivering the above responsibilities in their previous role/s.

The successful candidate will be adept at juggling multiple projects; with strong organisational skills, you will be able to effectively manage any changing priorities and demands of the project.

The role requires a confident communicator who can deliver information in an engaging manner. Key to the success of this role is working collaboratively and effectively managing stakeholders at all levels.

Package Description

  • Salary £30,000 - £35,000
  • 12% company pension contribution (3% from the individual)
