Head of Outcome Testing
MPS are recruiting a newly created position titled Head of Outcome Testing. Reporting into the Executive Board the purpose of this role is to establish and lead the Outcome testing function providing first line assurance across MPS that the organisation’s processes are operating efficiently, providing good member outcomes and is compliant with relevant rules and regulations.
- Execute the quality assurance plan by directing and reviewing work performed by the team, ensuring reviews are completed to a high standard and on a timely basis.
- Continually improve the quality assurance framework and approach, with appropriate alignment to testing and reviews performed by other parties such as Risk & Compliance and Internal Audit to ensure consistency and best use of resources.
- Manage stakeholder engagement by building professional relationships across the business.
- Plan and implement the annual quality audit plan, providing risk management expertise and working with senior stakeholders to ensure operational infrastructure operates effectively and that robust systems are in place.
The Ideal Candidate
As a newly created role this will require sound commercial acumen, strategic foresight and exemplary stakeholder management skills. Given the originality of the position it is an opportunity to create and shape something that you truly own and the successful candidate will be a key protagonist in shaping the future direction of MPS.
We would expect the successful candidate to be Educated to Degree Level or equivalent with a relevant professional qualification. You should have experience in building and leading a team and managing this team through a period of change. It is preferential that you have a demonstrable track record of leading a Quality Assurance function in regulated insurance, financial services, investment or the banking sector.
