Cognitive Institute is currently in an exciting expansion phase and is looking to recruit an experienced and passionate educationalist committed to making a global contribution to the continued development of healthcare.

As our Educational Development Program Leader in the Asia-Pacific - not only will you play a critical role in the ongoing development of Cognitive Institute’s programs in Australia - but as we are a fully owned subsidiary of the not for profit  MPS, the world’s largest medical indemnifier, your remit will extend to MPS’ Risk Prevention Department globally.

Role Responsibility

The opportunity to make an outstanding global contribution resides in the fact that the role is responsible for leading the development of

• Cognitive Institute’s commercial educational product portfolio
• Hospital-based products and services suitable for the global market serviced by MPS Risk Prevention
• Risk management educational interventions for the over 300,000 doctors, dentists, optometrists and other healthcare professionals who are members of MPS
• Providing strong leadership to the Cognitive Institute and MPS Risk Prevention Education team to develop high commercial-value products and services for our hospital-based portfolio and cutting-edge risk management educational options to MPS member globally
• Contributing to the development and delivery of our educational strategy to plan, cost and quality
• Working with other organisational leaders to set and deliver our budget
• Ensuring a culture of high performance and accountability so that;
  • Processes are designed and implemented in the most cost-effective way
  • Information and knowledge acquisition flows effectively into product and service design
  • Team member development activities contribute to increased organizational capability and robust succession planning

The Ideal Candidate

• We are seeking a passionate global citizen who is educated to degree standard or equivalent
• can provide transformational leadership in a commercial, progressive business environment      
• has experience in education development and delivery across all modalities (face-to-face, blended and digital learning) for a global audience
• has experience within medicine, dentistry, nursing or allied health (desirable)
