Digital Marketing Lead: Content and SEO specialist
Job Introduction
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Lead specialising in content and SEO with demonstrable experience and knowledge to support our in-house team.
Working across both briefed campaigns and owned strategic improvement, you’ll be instrumental in delivering growth, optimisation and managing day to day deliveries across SEO and Content Marketing.
As our content and SEO lead, you will be the in-house content champion. Your role will involve planning, authoring, creating, and optimising SEO-rich content such as hubs, articles and landing pages.
You should have strong SEO knowledge or awareness of semantics, user intent, E-E-A-T, YMYL with experience of developing content that is content unique, engaging, trustworthy and drives lead generation or achieves other goals.
Working with our in-house team of Digital Marketing Leads, you’ll develop, craft and enhance content across all our brands’ websites, as well as carrying out content audits, managing and developing content strategy and proposals for new briefs from colleagues. All content will be well optimised for search, using best practice on-page optimisation to ensure it ranks well, looks amazing, attracts clicks and delivers business growth.
We’re looking for candidates that has a passion for content, SEO and the drive to grow and develop into an expert in this area as part of a full mix marketing solution.
Role Responsibility
- Formulating content strategy, presenting solutions, producing and optimising content supporting both growth objectives and SEO growth.
- Publishing and managing content via our content management system.
- Manage content review processes and ensure content is refreshed and updated as necessary for SEO, internal compliance and review guidelines.
- Researching keywords, outlining briefs, designing content strategies and writing first-class content.
- Ability to support technical website audits to drive better search visibility and user engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Working in a team, with close collaboration, this role requires a blend of technical, editorial, copy writing, marketing operational experience.
- The ability to juggle and prioritise multiple workstreams balancing campaign delivery with strategic improvement.
- Content writing, editing, and content management experience for our brands’ websites.
- Experience in delivery and development of rich media content including video, audio / podcast and imagery to SEO and content marketing best-practice standards.
