Data Platform Manager
Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Platform Manager to join our Data and Analytics team based in Leeds!
As our Data Platform Manager, you will act as a partner between our Data and Analytics team and the wider business to support, challenge and influence decisions from senior sponsors and stakeholders.
A key part of the role is to determine what data the business needs and how that will influence and benefit other areas through ownership the overall data roadmap and backlog. You will create rigorous and robust plans to ensure we are achieving the best outcomes for our members and senior stakeholders.
This a hybrid role with a blend of home and office-based working. As MPS colleagues are spread across the UK, we utilise technology to facilitate our roles with occasional travel to our offices in Leeds.
Role Responsibility
- Support and challenge the development of on divisional plans within the designated divisions engaging with business leaders to ensure understanding and completion in line Data and Analytics roadmap
- Act as a single point of contact for engagement with the business and manage expectations, comms with the stakeholders and provide regular updates
- Understand complex business challenges across all MPS Departments, deploying end to end review tools and techniques to identify opportunities for changes
- Provide support to the project sponsors in developing metrics for business cases where required and benefit realisation as appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience of delivering change and products in the Data and Analytics space – can anticipate points of challenge and explain/advocate the benefits of change
- Strong communicator – ability to communicate to an Executive audience and converse with all levels
- Excellent Operating Model, Change Management, Process Analysis, Project Management Skills
- Project Management or Process Improvement qualifications are desirable (e.g. Prince2 or Six Sigma)

Package Description
Alongside a competitive salary as stated above, you will also receive:
