Claims Lead

Job Introduction

Our Claims and Triage team Leads are Operational managers who report into the Heads of the department. Our leads are responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality Case  and Claims Handling services for our members. Coaching and leading a team of circa 10 direct reports and ensuring the team is delivering in aspects such as SLA's, cost, quality, resourcing and service/continuous improvement.

These roles are fantastic opportunities to join MPS whilst we build our physical presence in Ireland. Working in a new and exciting team, you will be key in ensuring we operate effectively and can deliver an exceptional member experience.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Providing strong operational leadership in relation to people and strategy
  • Coaching and developing direct reports
  • Stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Ownership of Case handling operational budgets
  • Continuous improvement 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will come from either a clinical or operational background and will be able to demonstrate skills and experience in all or most of the following:

  • Leadership and coaching experience 
  • Operational management experience from an insurance, medical, malpractice or other regulated environment.
  • Resource planning, productivity management
  • Change management
  • Third party service delivery

Whilst operational/managerial experience is key, we are also open to considering candidates with medical or dental backgrounds who can also demonstrate some operational skills & experience.
