Business Development Executive/Account Manager
Our Business Development Executives (BDEs) sit within our Acquisition, Engagement and Retention team (AER). Our BDE’s work closely with the wider AER team and hold the responsibility of managing and retaining business within the Ireland B2B markets, including medical and dental corporates, consultant groups and large scale non-indemnity opportunities. This is done via an account management and relationship building approach.
Main responsibilities are to: To implement sales strategies to optimise customer acquisition, retention, customer satisfaction and brand engagement across specifically identified customer segments, life-stages and geographical areas.
To retain and acquire Medical and Dental membership through selling and promoting the benefits of MPS membership. Retention activities will form a key element to this role and you will be required to carry out account management activities across Ireland.
To achieve targets for the recruitment and retention of members in allocated segments and life-stages, through undertaking appropriate sales activities to ensure growth and retention. Implement business development activities, undertake analysis of the sales process, engage with members and specified target audiences to drive member satisfaction and brand engagement. Work cross-functionally to improve member experience, content and quality of communications, customer contact and the sales process. Support the marketing managers to champion each member type through every stage of the lifecycle.
The Ideal Candidate
In order to be considered for this role you will need evidence of working in a targeted, member facing or business development environment. A sound grasp of account management and commercial principles are essential for the role. Experience of implementing activity plans and achieving targets is key and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across an organisation, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders. We would especially like to see applications from B2B healthcare, insurance or financial services background although we will consider candidates from other regulated industries.
