Assistant Marketing Planner

Job Introduction

We have a great opportunity for a confident individual with knowledge of marketing and campaign delivery, to join us in our Brand and Marketing team as an Assistant Marketing Planner.

In this role you will support the delivery of Medical and Dental marketing communications for all countries, through effective planning, co-ordination and prioritisation of marketing campaigns and projects.

This role is fixed term for 8 months with a salary of up to £23,000 DoE + excellent benefits; we are continuing to work in a flexible hybrid fashion where you will work the majority of your week from home and 1-2 days per week in our Leeds office.

Role Responsibility

  • Prioritise teams’ capacity and capabilities to deliver innovative data and insight driven marketing campaigns.
  • Support the day to day planning process including ‘traffic management’ for new requests and plan changes.
  • Develop and implement detailed and extensive plans to deliver marketing campaigns across multiple segments and target audiences, working within strict timescales and budgets.
  • Work with the Marketing Planners to identify potential problems and devise ways to rectify them to overcome issues and achieve planned outcomes.
  • Support the briefing and oversight of the work of internal and external agencies, such as designers, illustrators, and printers, mailing houses, placing print and buying media as appropriate to deliver marketing campaign integration to timescale and budget.

The Ideal Candidate

This is an exciting role where no 2 days will be the same so we’re looking for someone who enjoys a varied workload, managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines.

You will be super organised with exceptional attention to detail, nothing slips past you!

As this role see you collaborating with a variety of people across the organisation, you'll have an influential communication style and enjoy forging solid working relationships.

You will have a well rounded view of marketing, including on and offline, digital and social together with direct mail campaign delivery. 

You'll have knowledge of forecast planning and resource demand techniques.

Package Description

  • Salary up to £23,000 DoE (pro-rata)
